The Venom from Vortex was designed to be a compact and lightweight sight that shows its potential on handguns.
With the sight comes a Picatinny mount that allows it to be used on a variety of firearms including shotguns, PCCs, AKs and with the addition of a tilted base it can be a great addition to the main scope on AR15/AR10.
The 3 or 6 MOA dot is easy to see and great for quick shots at close range.
The Venom also has an automatic brightness mode that uses the ambient light sensor to adjust the dot intensity.
With a rugged aluminum housing and a battery life of up to 30,000 hours at lower settings, the Venom red dot will perform in a wide range of conditions.
The top-change system makes it easy to change batteries without having to remove the visor.
